MRDS Further Increase Global Footprint With North Africa Partnership

We are excited to announce that we have further increased our global footprint by partnering with Egypt-based maintenance contractor IOIC.

As part of our continued expansion, this new partnership is the perfect opportunity to reach new clients in North Africa. Working exclusively with IOIC, we will provide drilling equipment maintenance, repair, overhaul and the supply of drilling equipment spare parts across the region.

Our Sales Director, Ian McGillivray, said; “We are very excited about this new business partnership and are looking forward to working with IOIC on upcoming projects. MRDS view this as a great opportunity to further increase our global footprint and, at the same time, deliver our core business services to drilling contractors in the region.”

IOIC (International Oilfield Inspection Company) provide high quality inspection, maintenance and contracted work services to operators and contractors in the Egyptian oil and gas sector. Their highly skilled staff, specialised equipment, extensive network of suppliers and expert knowledge and experience have enabled them to develop high levels of capability.

Barry Meldrum, Managing Director at IOIC, commented, “Working with MRDS is a great opportunity for IOIC. It allows us to offer a complete proposal package with MRDS carrying out all maintenance and repair work. This will allow us to branch out, offering more services to new and existing clients.”

In recent years, we have gone from strength to strength, moving to larger premises due to rapid growth, even during the recent well-documented oil industry downturn. We have continued to expand our services globally reaching into America and the Middle East and we are now recognised as the “Leaders in Service” for oilfield, marine and drilling equipment, maintenance and repair work. This new business partnership will help to enforce our presence and boost our continuous growth around the globe.
